Looking for the ultimate all-inclusive day trip? Escape Philadelphia and come with us whitewater rafting on the scenic Lehigh River nestled deep within the Pocono Mountains, then sample some fine wines paired with cheese!
Savory and Sweet. That’s the way we like it. Just a couple of hours from the city, we’ll get to our launch spot in there morning and meet our expert guides who will outfit the group. Before you know it, you’ll be on a raft battling the whitewater (class II and III rapids) and enjoying some amazing scenery. We’ll spend about two hours on the river before reconvening on shore for a much-needed lunch break. Full and happy, we’ll set off again for another one to two hours of thrilling rapids before saying goodbye to our rafting gurus and heading off for a wine tasting and cheese-pairing before returning to Philly.

Trip Details
Cost: $149
Included: transportation, lunch and snacks, whitewater rafting, licensed guides
Bring: closed sandals or old sneakers you don’t mind getting wet, rafting-appropriate clothing, dry change of clothes
Departure: 8 am, 30th Street between Market and Chestnut
